At Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns, we are looking for a highly experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead our team and deliver on our commitment to excellence. As an Executive Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the housekeeping department, ensuring the seamless operation of rooms, public areas, and laundry while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is a luxurious five-star hotel located in the heart of Cairns, offering stunning views of Marlin Marina and Trinity Inlet. With 255 beautifully appointed rooms, 18 versatile event venues, and exceptional dining options, the hotel is part of the globally renowned Shangri-La Group, which boasts over 100 hotels and resorts worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee and direct the delivery of housekeeping services, ensuring the highest quality in rooms, public areas, and laundry.
Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, setting high standards of service and productivity.
Manage department budgets, including stock movement, purchasing, and cost control, while ensuring the department operates efficiently.
Drive staff training and performance to elevate service standards and promote compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service quality and satisfaction.
Participate in team briefings and management meetings to contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
