This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the hotel
• Plan and organize work within the department, including assignments, time schedules and vacations
• Monitor guest requirements and requests, and respond promptly and efficiently to achieve customer satisfaction
• Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service
• Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and encourage multi-functionality
• Conduct regular training sessions and maintain records
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Responsible for inventory control of linen and uniform, conducting monthly inventory checks
• Quality audit - replacing worn out items with new ones from store, and regular discards
Issue uniforms for new staff and maintain hygienically clean, safe and comfortable rooms
• Responsible for cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of all areas, including pantries, trolleys, shafts, corridors, elevator landings, staircases etc
• Responsible for smooth operation of the shift by ensuring all equipment are in good working condition and sufficient quantity of cleaning supplies are provided to staff
• Report defects and irregularities to EHK, and liaise with engineering department daily
• Responsible for effective mini bar management as per organization's standards

Qualifications:
Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification
