Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in sourcing high-quality ingredients and raw materials necessary for our culinary projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Support our chefs in preparing and presenting dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Help manage inventory levels, including stock rotation, storage, and ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations. Assist in pre-production tasks such as ingredient preparation, mise-en-place setup, and organization to streamline cooking processes and enhance efficiency. Provide general assistance in the kitchen, including cleaning, dishwashing, and equipment maintenance, to uphold hygiene and safety standards. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality output. Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules and deadlines. Utilize knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (e.g., grilling, baking, boiling) to contribute to the creation of diverse and flavorful dishes. Possess basic understanding and proficiency in MS Office and G Suite applications for documentation and communication purposes. Maintain excellent physical condition and stamina to withstand the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment. Qualification and Skills: Ability to grasp new concepts and techniques quickly, adapting to evolving kitchen requirements. Previous experience using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware preferred. Basic understanding of international and regional cuisines, along with fundamental culinary skills and techniques. Basic level of proficiency in baking techniques and pastry preparation is advantageous. Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well within a team environment and take direction from chefs and senior staff. Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
