About Skilled Trades College:
At Skilled Trades College, we are passionate about helping students build hands-on careers through industry-leading training in the skilled trades. As a fast-growing institution with a strong reputation and ambitious goals, we are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) across all areas of operations and marketing.
The Role:
As the Executive Assistant to the COO, you will play a critical role in keeping the organization running efficiently. This is not your typical assistant role—you’ll be at the heart of major projects, marketing initiatives, and strategic planning efforts. You’ll work closely with the COO to manage daily priorities, organize key initiatives, streamline communication, and ensure execution on both operations and marketing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support to the COO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
Act as a liaison across departments to support implementation of operational strategies.
Track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, partnerships, and endorsements.
Coordinate with vendors, partners, and media agencies for marketing and promotional activities.
Conduct research, prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials.
Support event planning, social media content scheduling, and website updates.
Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or Marketing Coordinator (or similar role).
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Experience in marketing, branding, or communications is a strong asset.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
