We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Driver to join our construction team. Responsibilities
Operate excavators safely and accurately in accordance with project specifications and safety protocols
Assist with site preparation, loading, and unloading materials as required
Conduct routine inspections of the excavator, ensuring it is well-maintained and reporting any faults or issues
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth workflow
Assist with other construction duties as directed by supervisors, including basic mechanical tasks when necessary
Qualifications
Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or similar environment
Mechanical knowledge relevant to excavator maintenance
Valid cpcs/npors with relevant endorsements for operating heavy machinery
Strong understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
This role is essential for the successful completion of our projects, requiring a dedicated professional committed to safety and quality workmanship.
Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
