Event Supervisor

We are seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to join our team as an extension of the Staffing Inc. management team at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. You will be the primary liaison between the client, other temporary employees & Staffing Inc. management team during overnight, 3rd shift hours.

Job Title: 3rd Shift Staffing Inc. Supervisor at Van Andel Arena

Pay Rate: $20-23/ hour

Department: Staffing, Inc. Events

Reports To: Staffing Inc. Event Managers

Supervisor Responsibilities:
• Represents Staffing Inc. for every Third Shift at Van Andel Arena.
• Maintains relationships with employees and makes shift calls before events.
• Provides a welcoming environment to employees upon arrival.
• Check-in on third shift staff regularly.
• Sign in all 3rd shift employees
• Conducts a brief orientation for new employees & properly prepares them for the shift assigned to them.
• Enforces rules and procedures put in place by both Staffing Inc. and the client.
• Contacts employees by telephone using Sense, if necessary.
• Trains & complies with risk and injury procedures within 24 hours of the incident.

Supervisor Qualifications:
• Problem-solving skills
• Basic Microsoft Office Skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sporadic environment
• Must have availability on weekends and some holidays.
