Job Description
Job Summary:
The Part-Time Event Volunteer assists with various tasks and responsibilities during events to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for attendees. This role involves providing support to event staff, engaging with guests, and contributing to the overall success of the event. The Part-Time Event Volunteer will work closely with the event team and other volunteers to deliver high-quality service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Event Setup and Preparation:
• Assist with setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture, setting up decorations, and preparing equipment.
• Help with organizing and distributing event materials, such as programs, tickets, and promotional items.
• Guest Assistance:
• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information and directions as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries and ensure that their needs are met throughout the event.
• Provide support to attendees, including managing check-ins, directing them to various event areas, and addressing any concerns.
• Event Coordination:
• Support event staff with various tasks, including managing registration desks, distributing materials, and assisting with event activities.
• Help with crowd control and ensure that guests adhere to event guidelines and policies.
• On-Site Support:
• Assist with managing event schedules and ensuring that activities run smoothly and on time.
• Help with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the event.
• Provide general support to the event team as needed.
• Cleanup and Breakdown:
• Assist with cleaning up and breaking down the event space, including packing up materials and equipment.
• Ensure that the event area is left in good condition and that all items are accounted for.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with event staff, volunteers, and guests to ensure a cohesive and coordinated event experience.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and team members to complete tasks and achieve event goals.
• Adherence to Guidelines:
• Follow all event guidelines, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
• Adhere to dress code and professional conduct standards as specified by the event coordinator.
Qualifications:
• Education: No specific educational requirements; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous volunteer or event experience is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to event protocols.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic event environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ₹3,500.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability
