🧾 Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ETL QA Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, data validation, and advanced ETL concepts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud migration projects, along with a solid understanding of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs) and data transformation logic.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Analyze source-to-target mappings and business requirements for ETL processes

Design and execute test cases for ETL workflows and data pipelines

Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data quality checks

Validate data transformation logic including joins, aggregations, filtering, and business rules

Test Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1, Type 2, Type 3) implementations

Conduct end-to-end testing for data migration from on-prem to cloud platforms

Validate incremental and full data loads

Perform ETL regression, integration, and system testing

Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA/ALM

Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business teams

🧠 Required Skills

🔹 SQL & Database Skills

Strong expertise in complex SQL queries

Hands-on Experience With:

Joins, Window Functions, Subqueries

Data comparison and reconciliation techniques

Experience With Databases Like:

SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL

🔹 ETL Testing Skills

Experience In:

ETL validation

Data staging and warehouse testing

Expertise In:

Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1, 2, 3)

Data warehouse concepts (Fact & Dimension tables)
