ETL Developer Data Warehousing

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
• Design/Build/Maintain database structures to hold the synchronized data (master data, transactional and historical data) from the source systems, both for use as an Operational Data Store and Data Warehouse.
• Design/Build/Maintain ETL processes from source database to operational databases/ DWH.
• Analyze needs of downstream systems and end users; develop and support interfaces to fulfill them.
• Document and present requirements and design.
• Work with developers, business teams and external resources.

Skills Required
• Experience developing SQL server database tables, views, procedures, functions etc.
• Experience developing with ETL tools.
• Experience in extracting data from on premise and cloud-based systems and databases.
• Experience with Software development lifecycle and change control.
• Strong analytical skills to understand system needs presented by users.
• Ability to properly document the requirements, database design and interfaces.

Academic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Software engineering or similar.
• 2-5 years experience in ETL/SQL development.

Advantageous Skills
• Financial Services experience a plus.
