Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Merchant Banker to join our team, focusing on initial public
offerings (IPOs), equity offerings, SEBI and stock exchange compliance, right issues,
demergers, and debt & PE advisory. The successful candidate will be responsible for
developing and executing strategies for various capital market transactions, managing client
relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute strategies for various capital market transactions, including
IPOs, equity offerings, right issues, demergers, debt & PE advisory, SEBI and stock
exchange compliance
● Identify potential clients and initiate discussions with them
● Conduct due diligence on potential clients and assist them in preparing for the
transaction
● Work closely with clients' management teams, legal counsels, and auditors to ensure
successful transaction execution
● Draft offering documents and ensure regulatory compliance with SEBI and stock
exchange guidelines
● Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and regulators
● Monitor market trends and provide timely advice to clients
● Provide support to senior management on various projects as needed
Requirements:
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
● At least 5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on IPOs, equity
offerings, right issues, demergers, and debt & PE advisory
● Strong knowledge of SEBI and stock exchange guidelines and regulations
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
