Responsibilities
Equipment Mechanics / Shop Service Techs function as part of the Service team and are responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of material handling and construction equipment
Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of equipment at the local branch to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards
Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates
Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards

ABOUT THE POSITION
Equipment Mechanics / Shop Service Techs function as part of the Service team and are responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of material handling and construction equipment.
In this role you will:
• Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of equipment at the local branch to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards.
