Job Description
Join Kidco Construction: Now Hiring Heavy Haul Drivers
We are seeking a safety-conscious and experienced Heavy Haul Driver (Class 1) to join our Equipment Hauling division for the 2026 season.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Holds a valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
Has 3+ years of experience in loading, hauling, and unloading various heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, scrapers, dozers, packers, rock trucks, etc.)
Is proficient in load securement, blocking and rigging, and chaining
Works safely and efficiently to ensure timely equipment movement
Is physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, crawling, etc., while loading gear
Performs daily maintenance and thorough safety pre-operation checks
Has mountain driving experience (an asset)
Works well in a team setting and is a team player
Typical Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 6-8 hours
What We Offer You:
Competitive hourly wage, reflective of skill and experience
Overtime paid after 8 hours each day and after 44 hours per week
Vacation/Holiday pay, paid on each cheque at a rate of 9.6%
