About the Role
Join our team as an Environmental Services Assistant on a Part time, ongoing to work at Cranbourne Community Care Hospital based in Cranbourne East. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the General Services Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
ESAs are responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe hospital environment; not only for patients, but also for visitors and colleagues across Monash Health. ESAs deliver high-quality environmental services across clinical and non-clinical areas.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Ensuring adherence to infection prevention and control protocols at all times
Adhering to safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with safety guidelines
Managing waste removal and disposal procedures safely and responsibly
Maintaining cleaning schedules and documentation
Reporting maintenance or safety hazards promptly
Collaborating with clinical and support teams to deliver service excellence
