We are seeking an experienced leader to guide our Environmental Advisory team across New Zealand. This is a rare opportunity to lead an exceptional team and contribute to work that delivers lasting value for clients, communities and future generations. You will:

Te whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
You will lead Beca’s Environmental Advisory business across New Zealand, bringing together teams in Air Quality, Ecology, Land Contamination, Water Quality and Environmental Risk Management. As a key leadership role within Beca’s Community Shaping business, this position carries responsibility for performance, delivery excellence and sustainable growth across a nationally dispersed team of more than 50 specialists.
Reporting to the Capability & Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with an established leadership team to strengthen alignment across the business, lift market presence and contribute to the success of the wider Community Shaping business. You will also have the opportunity to shape how the business engages with the market while delivering strong commercial and financial outcomes.
The role will require some domestic travel within New Zealand.

You will bring proven leadership experience and the strategic capability to set direction, align resources and deliver results. You are a credible and inclusive leader who builds capability, develops others and fosters a strong, high-performing culture. Alongside this, you will bring a well-developed understanding of environmental advisory practice, including technical disciplines, client expectations, regulatory change and the commercial drivers shaping growth.
You will have a technical background in one of the speciality areas outlined above.
This role will suit experienced business leaders, people leaders, and senior technical or client leaders in the environmental sciences who are ready to step into a broader strategic leadership role.
