As a Part-Time Enrolled Agent, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their tax-related needs. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, providing tax advice, and representing clients before the IRS. This position offers the flexibility to work part-time while utilizing your extensive tax knowledge and expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Provide expert tax advice and planning strategies to clients.
• Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities.
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters.
• Assist with tax audits and respond to IRS inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
Qualifications:
• Must be a licensed Enrolled Agent (EA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and representation.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
