Subject Matter Expert (English) – Primary & Secondary Grades
Location: Kompally
About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Subject Matter Expert (SME) – English for Primary & Secondary Grades to strengthen academic excellence through curriculum planning, content development, teacher mentoring, and effective classroom practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review high-quality English lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources for secondary grades.
Ensure curriculum alignment with academic standards and school objectives.
Support teachers with lesson delivery strategies and subject-specific pedagogy.
Design engaging and interactive learning activities to improve student comprehension.
Conduct content audits and continuously enhance academic materials.
Prepare assessment frameworks, question papers, rubrics, and evaluation tools.
Analyze student performance data and recommend improvement strategies.
Mentor teachers and conduct subject-specific training sessions.
Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
Maintain academic quality benchmarks across secondary English programs.
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in English / Literature / Education or related field
B.Ed preferred
2–5 years of experience in teaching or academic content development
Strong command of English grammar, literature, and language instruction
Excellent curriculum design and assessment planning skills
Strong analytical and mentoring abilities
