TEFL Teachers

Start 02/07/26 - 29/07/26
Essential: CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL / PGCE or PGDE / QTS
Any other TEFL course must have at least 100 hours of ELT/TESOL teaching input, be externally validated, and have at least six hours’ supervised teaching practice (i.e. teaching practice where a qualified and standardised assessor observes the trainee teacher teaching real students and gives feedback on performance).
As an English Language Teacher, you will plan, prepare, and deliver the St. Andrews College curriculum to a student body diverse in age, culture, language, and ability. Class sizes are a maximum of 18. Learners are aged 11-18. Lessons take place over 6 days (Mondays - Saturdays).
Teachers' hours are spread over a 42-hour working week. Administration (e.g. meetings, updating records of work, etc.) and lesson preparation time, is included within the contracted week. Student class contact hours will be 36 hours per week.
Full lesson plans and materials are provided and have been specifically designed to fit the needs of our students and teachers. Lessons are task-based and communicative.
