Engineer - Production & Quality_Water Treatment
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise daily office, fabrication, testing and operational activities.
• Lead technicians, operators and supporting teams and ensure timely task completion.
• Supervise fabrication and assembly of RO, UF and other water-treatment systems.
• Conduct and document electrical, mechanical and functional testing of manufactured systems.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, inspection checklists and testing records.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, SOPs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, stores, production and service teams.
• Monitor material availability, production schedules and project progress.
• Supervise packaging, dispatch and installation readiness.
• Maintain production, inventory, inspection and daily progress records.
• Identify quality/manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support site installation, commissioning and service activities when required.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.Qualification:
• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
Experience:
• 2–5 years relevant experience in EPC, manufacturing or project execution preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment, equipment manufacturing, system integration, installation, commissioning or QA/QC will be an advantage.
