We are looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our Hastings branch. This is a hands-on role where you will provide engineering support to our service department and directly to customers, delivering reliable, innovative, and practical solutions.

About the role:
As an Engineer, you will:
Service, repair and overhaul agricultural components
Provide engineering solutions by designing and implementing cost-effective, reliable outcomes
Carry out testing and ensure all work meets industry best practice and safety standards
Support the service team and liaise directly with customers and suppliers
Complete all required administration and maintain accurate records
Travel to customer sites as required
Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety procedures and WorkSafe NZ requirements
About you:
Trade qualified in Mechanical Engineering and/or Fitting & Turning
Strong welding capability (certification preferred)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar engineering environment
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Solid administration and record-keeping skills
Current full driver’s licence
Experience in the agricultural industry or additional engineering qualifications will be advantageous.
