EMBROIDERY DESIGNER

We are seeking a talented and skilled Embroidery Designer with experience in the garment designing and manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Wilcom software for embroidery design and a strong understanding of garment design principles. The Embroidery Designer will collaborate closely with our design and production teams to create intricate and visually appealing embroidery designs for our apparel products.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop creative and innovative embroidery designs using Wilcom software, incorporating a variety of stitches, patterns, and textures.

· Collaborate with the design team to interpret design briefs and translate concepts into detailed embroidery artworks.

· Digitize artwork and designs for embroidery, ensuring optimal stitch density, color blending, and design clarity.

· Edit and refine embroidery designs as needed, considering factors such as fabric type, size variations, and production requirements.

· Manage color selections and thread choices for embroidery designs, coordinating with production teams to achieve desired color effects.

· Ensure color consistency and accuracy across different materials and production processes.

· Create technical documents and specifications for embroidery designs, including stitch counts, thread types, and placement guidelines.

· Provide detailed instructions and guidelines to production teams for accurate execution of embroidery designs on garments.

· Conduct quality checks on embroidered samples and prototypes to ensure design integrity, stitch quality, and alignment.

· Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot embroidery issues, optimize production workflows, and meet quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Proven experience 5 years as an Embroidery Designer in the garments industry, with expertise in Wilcom software.

· Strong portfolio showcasing a range of embroidery designs, patterns, and techniques across different garment types.

· Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and production processes, with an understanding of embroidery machine capabilities and limitations.

· Proficiency in digitization, editing, and manipulation of embroidery designs, including color management and thread selection.

· Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for creating visually stunning embroidery artworks that enhance garment aesthetics.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve design objectives within project timelines and budgets.
