Job title: Embedded Systems Engineer
Location: Derby (Derbyshire)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Company overview & Job Title:
Due to ongoing successful development and exciting projects, an established and successful engineering company based in Derby (Derbyshire) who’re leaders in the industry of Advanced Security Technologies are now hiring for a brand new Embedded Systems Engineer to join the expert team and to be developing and designing world class products with the use of the new and latest cutting edge technologies.
Salaries on offer & work from home policy:
The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Developer is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum. 5 days working onsite is preferred but 1 day WFH is available.
About the role:
The successful Embedded Systems Engineer will take responsibility for Firmware Development for Embedded C, C++ and Hardware Development for Electronics, PCB Design & FPGAs across the full product design lifecycle that will include designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging from concept through to manufacturing for products and technology.
Embedded Systems Engineer Key Skills:
• 2-3+ years industry experience
• Understanding of developing for embedded platforms and environments
• Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
• Hardware & PCB Design
• Experience with Altium would be an advantage
• Experience of microcontrollers & microprocessors
• Network interface protocols – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, TCP/IP
• Experience of FPGA Design – Would be an advantage
• Good & strong diagnostic skills
• Interest in learning & applying new technologies and technique
