Raptee Energy is an early-stage e-mobility start-up working on powertrain solutions primarily for next generation commuter motorcycles. We are building the first ever high voltage, software driven electric motorcycle that will supersede its petrol-powered counterpart in terms of performance, reliability, comfort and most of all cost of ownership, to make independent commuting effortless! Our mission is to provide a sustainable alternative to fossil- fuel bikes, which does not compromise on performance, value, comfort or design. Work with the Software development team to integrate the embedded system in vehicle with a cloud server.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
• Design and develop embedded software for various electronic devices and systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure that the software and hardware are compatible.
• Write code in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure that the software meets the specified requirements.
• Debug software and troubleshoot issues that arise during development or testing.
• Optimize software performance for memory usage and execution time.
• Develop device drivers and firmware for various devices, such as sensors and actuators.
• Work with other software engineers to integrate embedded software with higher-level software systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to embedded software development.
• Write technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in embedded software development and debugging.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their usage in embedded systems.
• Understanding of hardware/software interface and experience working with microcontrollers and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with software development tools, such as debuggers and oscilloscopes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
