Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded hardware systems for our EV charging products. This role requires a strong background in embedded systems, electronics, and a passion for renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop embedded hardware for EV charging systems, including microcontrollers, power electronics, and communication modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to define hardware requirements and specifications.
Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) using Altium Designer, Eagle, EasyEDA, etc.
Conduct simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate hardware designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Optimize hardware designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Support firmware development and integration with embedded hardware systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded hardware technologies and industry trends.
Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Hands-on experience in dealing with circuit protections, EMI/EMC, ESD, and understanding of signal integrity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in embedded hardware design and development, preferably in the EV charging or power electronics industry.
Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, EasyEDA).
Strong understanding of microcontrollers, Digital and Analog circuit design, power electronics, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI, UART).
Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink).
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance for EV charging systems (e.g., IEC, UL, IS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with IoT technologies and wireless communication protocols.
