IBN Tech is looking for a results-driven Email Marketing Specialist who will be responsible or the day-to-day management of B2B email marketing campaigns, with a focus on lead generation.
Has exposure to US target audience and hands-on experience of generating leads via email marketing.
Working within a digital marketing team, the email marketing specialist is solely responsible for all things related to email marketing – technical setup, data quality, messaging, optimizing and sending emails to generate leads.
Setting up, creation, optimization and scaling-up of email marketing will be the major role of this specialist.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure best practices for email marketing are maintained – including but not limited to technical setup (IP warming, email address warming, consistent flow of sending emails, consistent deliveries to inbox of target audience, no domain blockages, no email blockages, no complaints from tools being used for email marketing, etc.), messaging, optimization and sending of emails to generate leads.
Technical Setup:
• Ensure your requirements of a server, domain and email address are met with.
Warming Up:
Ensure this is done regularly to maintain consistency at all levels
• Define a SOP for IT teams and your own team member(s) to follow in order to ensure a smooth-running campaign wrt domain, email, server, etc
Emails and Analytics:
• Build and Optimize email campaigns (in terms of call-to-action buttons, what content to include in the email, and liaising with other concerned stakeholders to get the job done)
• Understand the customer life cycle and align email campaigns with key messaging
• Developing and Proofreading copy
• Personalization and Deliverability of the emails
• Testing and tweaking email content as needed
• Managing email lists - Purge non-deliverable email addresses, opt-outs, and more
• Segmenting email lists to optimize campaigns
• Setting up various automation workflows
• Optimizing email signups and opt-ins
• Compiling reports
• Gathering insights on the audience
• Coordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of several databases.
• Develop and list segmentation for all direct and interactive marketing campaigns and communicate requirements to the internal team members focusing on data sourcing.
• Keep an eye on responses / actions, ensure CRM is populated with genuine leads based on these responses / actions and keep the sales team updated about daily response data
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as an email marketing specialist / email marketing executive or similar role
• 3.5 to 5 years of B2B Email Marketing Experience with US as Primary Target Audience Geography and Lead Generation as the primary target. 'Cold' Email Marketing experience a must.
• Must be proficient with HTML, content management systems, email marketing tools, marketing automation, Google Analytics for tracking performance, analytical and database tools.
