Electronic Systems Technician (Apprentice)
Job Description
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment
Carry out low-voltage system installations and related repairs
Apply mechanical skills to take apart and rebuild electronic assemblies
Deliver on-site field service to customers, performing repairs and routine maintenance
Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to support diagnostics
Keep detailed and accurate logs of service activities, parts consumed, and repairs completed
Support computer networking needs when required, including basic setup and issue resolution
Operate hand tools and specialized diagnostic/repair equipment to complete installations and fixes
Skills:
Solid expertise in repairing and maintaining electronic systems
Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and installation practices
Strong mechanical ability for disassembling and reassembling electronic devices
Prior experience as a service technician, ideally within the electronics or related field
Skill in reading and understanding schematics, blueprints, and technical illustrations
Competence in computer networking, with the ability to identify and resolve connectivity problems
Understanding of computer hardware components and system configurations
Proficiency with hand tools and precision equipment used in repair and installation work
Sharp problem-solving abilities to quickly identify issues and implement effective fixes
