We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Electrician to join our drilling operations team. Initially working in the yard, this position will transition into a rotational, field based role supporting remote rig locations. You’ll work hands on with rig electrical systems, troubleshoot PLCs, and keep critical equipment running safely and reliably.

Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on drilling rigs
Work with PLCs, control systems, sensors, and automation components
Perform electrical diagnostics and implement corrective actions in the field
Support rig moves, commissioning, and decommissioning activities
Complete shop based repairs, testing, and equipment preparation between rotations
Ensure all work meets electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
Collaborate with rig crews, mechanics, and operations teams to minimize downtime
Participate in ‘On-Call’ rotation, answering phone calls and troubleshooting issues
Technical Competencies
Journeyperson Electrician (Red Seal preferred)
Experience with industrial or oilfield electrical systems
Strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Comfortable working in remote environments and adapting to changing priorities
Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive, safety first mindset
Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre employment requirements
