Electrician - Apprentice
Job Description
This is a 3-4 year commitment to complete an apprenticeship by obtaining a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4) including registration and practising licence so your dedication to this opportunity is essential. Applicants will ideally have:
NCEA Level 1 passes in Maths, English, Physics, Technical drawing and Engineering Workshop
A keen interest in engineering and an electrical aptitude is preferred
Previous work experience or pre-apprenticeship training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage time and prioritise and organise workload and studies
The ability to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and to meet deadlines
The ability to work cooperatively as part of a small team demonstrating energy, vision and initiative
A proactive approach and good problem-solving skills.
The ability to identify issues relating to reliability and maintenance and site services that need resolution
