Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Coordinator
The Tasmanian Government is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Coordinator to join their team in Launceston. As a key member of the regional works team, you will be responsible for providing high-level support to the regional Works Coordinator and undertaking complex specialist tasks related to traffic signal installation and maintenance.
About the Position
This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of $++,482.00 to $104,352.00 per annum. You will work with the Works Coordinator to deliver the annual works program, liaising with local government, contractors, and stakeholders. Your expertise will also be used to provide input on the operation and state of equipment in the field, ensuring the development of the works program and asset renewal for Traffic Signals.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Working with the Works Coordinator to deliver the annual works program, including liaising with local government, contractors, and stakeholders;
Providing input regarding the operation and state of equipment in the field to assist in the development of the works program and asset renewal for Traffic Signals;
Supervising Senior Electrical Technicians (SET) for all technical matters, ensuring delivery of the works program;
Using expert knowledge of specialized management software to monitor road network conditions and traffic signal assets;
Planning, documenting, and coordinating the delivery of structured works for complex traffic signal projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A current driver's license;
Open Cabler Accreditation and Fibre Endorsement;
Expert knowledge of specialized management software, including REFLECT, SCATS, STREAMS, Security Desk, and other control systems.
