Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Helper with expertise in low voltage LED wiring to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in making splice connections, jumping different strands of LED lights, and wiring power supply assemblies into transformer boxes. A strong understanding of how to read blueprints is essential.

Responsibilities
• Install and maintain low voltage LED lighting systems.
• Make splice connections and jump different strands of LED lights.
• Wire power supply assemblies into transformer boxes.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to LED lighting systems.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
Essential Skills
• Proven electrical experience with low voltage LED wiring.
• Ability to make precise splice connections and jump LED light strands.
• Proficient in wiring power supply assemblies into transformer boxes.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility during the 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM, with potential for overtime on Saturdays. Use tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, pliers, cable cutters, voltage testers, and multimeters.

Job Type Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
