What you’ll do
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our MEP Procurement team. The selected candidate will support the procurement of HVAC materials and equipment for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring materials are procured in accordance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the procurement of HVAC materials, including ducts, insulation, pipes, valves, fittings, air outlets, dampers, fans, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), chillers, pumps, and related accessories.
Review project drawings, BOQs, and material specifications to identify procurement requirements.
Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and obtain competitive quotations from approved vendors.
Evaluate supplier quotations based on technical compliance, pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers for order confirmation and timely delivery.
Track material deliveries and coordinate with site engineers and stores to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to resolve material-related issues.
Assist in supplier evaluation and vendor development.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and project requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
01 year of experience (Freshers).
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and MEP construction.
Ability to read engineering drawings and BOQs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and ERP software is an added advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment and materials.
Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
Good analytical and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to visit project sites and supplier locations when required.
