Job Summary
PCB hardware design using Altium (preferred) or Cadence, with solid analog/digital circuit fundamentals and hands-on lab testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. Familiar with full PCBA workflow including schematic capture, layout, simulation (LTspice), and PCB stack-up/routing practices. Bonus skills include VHDL/Verilog, digital communication protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, LVDS, RS422), and low-level C programming.
Duties And Responsibilities
Design and develop analog and digital PCBs using Altium including schematic capture, component selection, and layout
Perform circuit analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause failure investigations..
Develop and maintain PCB layout rules, stack-ups, placement, and routing to meet electrical and manufacturing requirements.
Conduct hardware validation using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies) and document test results.
Spport full PCBA lifecycle: symbol/footprint creation, simulation (LTspice), prototyping, bring-up, and production release.
Implement and verify digital communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, LVDS, RS422, etc.)
Collaborate with firmware/software teams for low-level C integration and hardware validation.
Contribute to FPGA/HDL design activities (VHDL/Verilog) when applicable.
