Job Description
Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Experience: 3–5 Years (preferred)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in substation (11-33 KV) design. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation for electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and engineering of substations (11–33 kV)
• Preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
• Development of Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Cable sizing and selection calculations
• Earthing design and calculations
• Lightning Arrestor (LA) selection and calculation
• Coordination with civil and mechanical teams for integrated design
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and substation design
• Knowledge of cable sizing, protection systems, and grounding
• Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and documents
Software Proficiency:
• AutoCAD
• PVsyst
• DIALux
• ETAP
Qualification:
• B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Preferred:
• Experience in solar projects
• Familiarity with relevant IS/IEC standards
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
