The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Analyst with strong strategic analysis and architecture skills. This role provides enterprise level analysis and expertise, translating policy intent and operational needs into coherent architectures that inform national investment, reform and delivery decisions.
As part of a small multidisciplinary team, the Enterprise Analyst will support the delivery of contemporary strategic NPI policy and capability reform initiatives. The role focuses on analysing, designing and translating complex business, information and capability requirements into coherent enterprise architecture, supporting informed decision making and sustainable national outcomes.
The role works collaboratively across internal stakeholders, police agencies, other Commonwealth agencies and industry nationally, supporting alignment between policy intent, operational needs and technical delivery.
Success in this role is demonstrated by clear, coherent enterprise architectures and analysis that enable informed decisions, alignment across stakeholders and effective delivery of NPI reforms.
Role responsibilities
Analyse and synthesise complex business, information and capability requirements relating to national policing information;
Design, model and document current and future state enterprise architectures for NPI services;
Support policy, investment and reform decision making through evidence-based analysis and options development;
Translate policy intent and operational needs into clear architectural views, roadmaps and artefacts;
Assure alignment between policy objectives, operational requirements and delivery approaches by working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners.
Your skills and capabilities
You are a strategic analyst who analyses and synthesises complex business, information and capability challenges across diverse stakeholders, policies and services. You design and articulate clear enterprise architecture views that support informed decision making in complex environments.
You translate policy intent and operational needs into structured models, artefacts and advice that enable alignment between strategy, operations and delivery. You communicate clearly and precisely, tailoring complex concepts for a range of technical and non technical audiences.
You demonstrate a strong track record supporting reform and investment decisions through evidence based analysis. You work independently under broad direction, applying sound judgement, logic and discretion to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality analytical outcomes.
You collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, building shared understanding and supporting collective outcomes.
Eligibility
Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance - The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
Pre-Employment Screening – All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to being offered employment at the ACIC.
