Education Sales Consultant VR
Job Description
Employment type: Full-time
Work arrangement: Flexible. Work from home, with regular travel to meet schools and attend demos/events.
About Us:
Beyond Horizon VR (BHVR) delivers mobile free-roam virtual reality experiences across entertainment and education. Our education arm, AXR Education, brings curriculum-aligned VR science modules directly into classrooms through school incursions, giving students hands-on, immersive learning experiences they can't get anywhere else.
We're growing education presence in Victoria and building on our established base in South Australia, and we're looking for a driven sales professional to lead that charge. In partnership with AXR Education, giving us a strong, established platform to build school relationships on.
About the role
We're after a sales professional who knows the education sector and can build genuine relationships with the people who make purchasing decisions: principals, curriculum heads, science coordinators, and other school leaders. You'll be the face of Beyond Horizon VR Education for schools in your patch: opening doors, running demos, and closing bookings.
What you'll be doing
Identifying and connecting with decision-makers at schools: principals, curriculum/subject heads, and science coordinators
Building and managing a pipeline of school leads across Victoria (and South Australia as needed)
Presenting and demonstrating Beyond Horizon VR's educational VR programs to school staff
Negotiating and closing sales, from first contact through to booked sessions
Representing BHVR at education events, expos, and summits
Maintaining accurate records of leads, conversations, and pipeline status
Working closely with the delivery team to hand off confirmed bookings smoothly
What we're looking for
Sales experience within, or selling into, the education sector: Understanding how schools make purchasing decisions and who the key stakeholders are
Confidence engaging and building rapport with senior decision-makers
Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule and pipeline in a flexible, work-from-home arrangement
A valid driver's license and access to your own car (preferred), as the role involves travel to schools
Must be able to obtain (or already hold) a Working With Children Check and pass a National Police Check
Strong communication and presentation skills
Why join us
Genuine flexibility. Work from home, manage your own schedule
Be part of a growing program bringing innovative VR technology into classrooms
Full-time role with a supportive, close-knit team
