Early Years Teacher (Level 6 Qualified) – Independent Prep School, Camden
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Camden, London
An outstanding independent preparatory school in Camden is seeking a passionate and experienced Level 6 qualified Early Years Teacher to join its thriving Early Years department. About the Role
You will lead the delivery of engaging, play-based learning for children aged 0–5, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Working within a collaborative team, you will ensure every child receives the highest standard of care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must hold one of the following:
• Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) / EYITT
• The recognised Level 6 qualification for leading early years education
• Equivalent to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for ages 0–5
OR
• Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)
• A valid and respected Level 6 qualification
• Equivalent to QTS within early years settings
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality, stimulating learning experiences
• Lead and inspire within the Early Years setting
• Observe, assess, and track children’s development
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
