Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Day-to-day support of multiple production and non-production environments, manage and oversee database architecture, service reliability, and perform root cause analysis of software, process and service failures.
• Perform Oracle database cloning, installation, configuration, patching, upgrades on Unix, Linux and Windows OS.
• Implement and configure Oracle Real Application Cluster, Oracle Advanced Compression techniques, Back up and Recovery procedures, High Availability etc.
• Preferably having worked on shell scripting
• Excellent experience in Supporting & Troubleshooting Database
• Experience on database upgrades, installation and administration with any platform migration.
• Experience in implementation and troubleshooting for Oracle RAC database.
• Experience in performing core database activities like Patching, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Should have good understanding of Database Security, Encryption, Partitioning & networking.
• Oracle certification in relevant technology will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in night shifts.
Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)
Experience:
• 4-8 years of experience working on Database technologies.
• Preferably having Primary experience in Oracle Database ,admin
• Excellent experience in Oracle Database administration, installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery methods in multiple computing environments (UNIX, Linux, Windows).
• Administering, monitoring and securing Oracle Database
• Excellent experience in Change management Process towards to Production environment.
• Manage Oracle Database, WebLogic, RHEL, OEL including Server Administration, Patching, Backup/Recovery, Scripting and Code Deployments.
• Experience on database upgrades, installation and administration with any platform migration.
• Experience in implementation and troubleshooting for Oracle RAC database.
• Experience in performing core database activities like Patching, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Should have good understanding of Database Security, Encryption, Partitioning & networking.
• Good Knowledge on scripting will be a Plus to work on build deployments scripts.
• Oracle certification in relevant technology will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in 24/7 Model.
Competencies / Skills:
• Possesses good communication skills to coordinate, resolve queries of both external and internal customers
• Self-motivator and result oriented to complete task as per timelines
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and work on new technologies
• Should have a consulting mindset

BTech / MTech / MCA / MBA
