The Duxton at O'Connor is an award winning, well-established venue located in the heart of O'Connor.
On the ground level we have our popular Main Bar, a popular Cafe, an award-winning Restaurant, and a TAB area. On the top level we have 3 unique and versatile private functions spaces.
About the role
We are seeking experienced Managers to join our team.
As Duty Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our venue, particularly the Main Bar, providing exceptional customer service and leading a talented team of staff.
What you'll be doing
Oversee the daily operations of the main bar, including opening or closing of the venue
Driving food & beverage sales to achieve the set KPIs
Manage and coordinate staff tasks to ensure seamless service delivery
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Monitor and maintain venue standards, policies, and procedures
Provide leadership and training to support to the bar team
What we're looking for
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Experience in a management or a supervisor position
Strong operational and customer service skills
Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
