Job Title: Duty Doctor / Resident Medical Officer (BAMS)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly competent and dedicated medical professional to join our team as a Duty Doctor / Resident Medical Officer (RMO). The incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, managing emergencies, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide immediate medical attention to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions.
Conduct thorough medical examinations, including history-taking, physical assessments, and diagnostic tests.
Accurately diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
Initiate and manage treatment plans, including medication prescriptions, fluid therapy, and monitoring.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as necessary.
Collaborate with specialists and consultants for complex cases.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Prepare clear and concise patient reports.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding documentation.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in ward rounds and case discussions.
Contribute to the overall efficiency of the medical team.
Qualifications:
BAMS degree from a recognized medical institution.
Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle emergencies effectively.
Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
