Job Description
Job Title: Drywall Finisher / Boarder – Restoration & Repair Work (Immediate Work Available)
Company: Red Fox Exteriors & Contracting
Location: Strathmore, AB – Serving Calgary and surrounding areas
Job Type: Freelance / Contract
Red Fox Exteriors & Contracting is expanding our services to include drywall repair and finishing. We currently have agreements in place with a restoration company to complete drywall replacements and repairs related to insurance claims.
In addition to restoration projects, we also complete drywall repairs and replacements for residential renovation and general repair work.
We are looking for experienced drywall boarders and finishers who can deliver clean, high-quality work on residential projects.
Work is available immediately, with restoration projects already scheduled.
This opportunity is ideal for independent drywall contractors or small crews looking for steady work and a long-term working relationship with a growing contractor.
Typical Work Includes
Boarding drywall after water or fire damage restoration
Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall repairs
Blending repairs into existing walls and ceilings
Matching common ceiling textures when required
Drywall repairs related to renovations, tenant damage, and general home repairs
Preparing surfaces to a paint-ready Level 4 finish
Working in occupied residential homes while maintaining a clean and professional job site
Requirements
Proven experience in drywall boarding and finishing
Ability to complete drywall finishing to a Level 4 standard
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
Preferred
Experience with restoration or insurance repair work
Ability to match ceiling textures (knockdown, orange peel, etc.)
WCB coverage and liability insurance
