Job Description
PCB ( Shouldering, designing, reworking)
Duties/Responsibilities:
-The Technician will perform complex circuit analysis, troubleshoots and repairs completed PCBs.
-The Technician will conduct component level repair of PCBs to include soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components.
-The Technician will solve problems that might not have a clear solution. Demonstrate ability to experiment and use trial and error to fix or solve problems.
-The Technician will use diagnostic tools to assess or monitor laptop, tablet computer systems to assist in troubleshooting and repair.
-The Technician will use small handheld tools such as screwdrivers, voltmeters, scope etc. within the laptop, tablet computer.
-The Technician will use BGA Rework station to remove and install BGA chips as part of repair.
-The Technician will prepare unit for repair.
-The Technician will utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, meters oscilloscopes, functional test simulators, soldering equipment, hand tools.
-The Technician will assist in project modifications.
-The Technician will order parts and manage them upon receipt.
-The Technician will prepare required reports and submit to Repair Supervisor.
-The Technician will meet production target provided by management.
-The Technician will contribute quality improvement of the products.
