About the role
We’re looking for a safety-focused Driver (Class 5) to join WM New Zealand. You’ll operate company vehicles and equipment to deliver waste management services safely, efficiently, and sustainably, while keeping customers happy.
This is a Hook truck and trailer role, servicing the transfer stations around Taranaki and local customers.
No two days are the same.
Qualifications
About you
We’re seeking a reliable and motivated driver who takes pride in safe, high-quality work. You’ll have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and a commitment to customer service and sustainability.
You’ll bring:
A valid Class 5 NZ Driver’s Licence
Proven heavy vehicle driving experience
A solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance, and fatigue management
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out daily checks and maintenance
