Build Support Limited is a New Zealand-based company operating in the construction sector. We specialise in the manufacturing and retail of aluminium doors/windows and relevant accessories.
We are seeking a Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering finished products to customer sites and collecting raw materials and other tools or components from suppliers. The role requires working a minimum of 30 hours and up to 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work as rostered.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport raw materials and supplies from several suppliers within Auckland.
Greet Customers in a professional and courteous manner during each delivery.
Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage
Deliver orders to customers and construction sites on time
Check delivery schedules and plan routes efficiently Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance wit Health &
Safety standards, including proper loading and unloading procedures.
Immediately report any accidents, product damage or delivery issues to your supervisor
Be available for all shift cover or short- notice deliveries when operational needs arise
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out basic daily checks like fuel, tyres, oil, etc. Manual loading and unloading of stock at delivery locations- heavy lifting involved upto 25Kg.
We are looking for:
Should have a valid Class 1 driver's license or equivalent international driver license
Should be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicle
Have Good communication skills
Physically fit with an enthusiastic, patient, and caring attitude
A safe and confident driver with a clean record, having held a driving Licence.
Ability to pre-employment drug and ******* test.
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 to $35 per hour.
