We're looking for an experienced Registered Drainlayer to join our Gisborne team delivering critical water infrastructure projects throughout the region.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out on site, solving problems, and taking pride in delivering high-quality work. You'll play a key role in constructing and upgrading wastewater, stormwater and drainage networks that support local communities.
In this role, you'll be involved in:
Installing wastewater, stormwater and drainage infrastructure
Laying PVC, PE and concrete pipelines
Constructing manholes, catchpits and chambers
Working on water reticulation upgrades and network improvements
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Undertaking confined space work and live network tie-ins
Working safely and collaboratively within a high-performing crew
No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects that make a real difference to the region.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys being part of a team that gets the job done right.
You'll ideally have:
A Level 3 Drainlaying qualification (minimum)
Current registration with the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (PGDB)
Proven experience in drainage and reticulation construction
A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to health, safety and quality
Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 advantageous)
The ability to think ahead, solve problems and adapt to changing site conditions
