Domestic Travel Consultant(KORU PROJECTS LIMITED)Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Job Description
You will be responsible for the following duties:
Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, budgets, and special interests within New Zealand.
Design and recommend tailored domestic itineraries based on available transport routes, accommodation options, and cost considerations.
Make, manage, and confirm travel bookings including flights, ferries, car rentals, accommodation, and tour reservations.
Provide clients with clear information regarding travel dates, licence requirements, insurance options, and connection details.
Offer expert advice on New Zealand tourist attractions, tour availability, and local experiences, including Waiheke Island and other key destinations.
Assist clients with travel and rental insurance options, including third-party damage cover.
Issue booking confirmations, vouchers, and travel documentation, and securely process client payments.
Respond promptly to enquiries from domestic travellers and tourists, offering knowledgeable guidance on tours, travel routes, accommodation, and local customs.
Provide clients with relevant brochures, handouts, and destination information to enhance their travel experience.
Advise clients on procedures relating to lost or stolen travel documents and general travel assistance.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 to $35 per hour.
Other important requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in travel consulting, tourism, customer service, or a related field OR minimum level 4 qualification in the field of business/tourism/hospitality / Arts/ communication/Management etc.
