Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist with inquiries related to freight, shipping, and supply chain logistics while ensuring a smooth communication flow between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong phone etiquette and data entry skills, with experience in 3PL environments being a plus. Must have good communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding freight and shipping services.
Utilize phone systems effectively to ensure clear communication with clients.
Process orders and handle data entry tasks accurately in our systems, including SyteLine.
Collaborate with the shipping and receiving departments to provide timely updates to customers.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
Resolve customer issues promptly while ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with team members to streamline operations within the supply chain.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within customer service operations.
Qualifications

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with freight operations and third-party logistics (3PL) is desirable.
Proficient in data entry with attention to detail.
Ability to navigate phone systems efficiently to manage calls effectively.
Experience with SyteLine or similar software is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
