Security Operations Dispatcher

Tri-West Security Canada Ltd. is a rapidly growing security company providing professional security guard services, mobile patrols, alarm response, and remote video monitoring throughout Canada.
We are currently looking for professional, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Operations Centre as Security Operations Dispatchers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can remain calm under pressure.
As a dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our clients by coordinating security personnel, monitoring live surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities
• Monitor live CCTV cameras and remote surveillance systems.
• Dispatch mobile patrol and static security guards to incidents.
• Monitor security software, GPS tracking, and client monitoring platforms.
• Receive and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and emergency situations.
• Communicate with guards, supervisors, clients, and emergency services when required.
• Monitor guard patrols, check-ins, and lone worker compliance.
• Write detailed incident reports, daily logs, and operational reports.
• Update client information, post orders, and dispatch records.
• Prioritize multiple incidents while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain professional communication at all times.
• Follow company procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn multiple software platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience is considered an asset:
• Security dispatching
• CCTV or remote video monitoring
• Alarm monitoring
• TrackTik
• Wisenet Wave
• Immix
• Microsoft Office
• Google Workspace
• Customer service
• Security Operations Centre (SOC) experience
• Radio dispatch or emergency communications
Requirements
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to work in a multi-monitor environment.
• Alberta Security Services Licence is considered an asset or must be obtained upon hiring.
