We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your main responsibility will be to assist in the preparation of meals and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
- Help with meal service, including plating and garnishing dishes
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
