Permanent part time position available for passionate Disability Support Workers at Mitcham East

We are looking for passionate disability support workers who take a person-cantered approach when supporting people with disability.

In this role, you will be providing active support to clients within their home and their community to develop skills, independence, and friendships. Our 5 clients at Mitcham East are all verbal and enjoy having a joke and cup of tea at home with each other, activities that the team are involved in include swimming, bowling, and traveling to the football (go tigers).

You will be supported by a long-standing team, who are dedicated in their person centred support.

The role can be incredibly rewarding as you are an integral part of their journey towards 'Better Days, Every Day'.

This is permanent part time role with the following shifts available weekly, please view the roster line below and apply if you are available for 3 or more of the below shifts each week.



Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

Essential:

Experience providing support to others: Disability, Aged Care, Community, or Allied Health
Intermediate computer skills (ie: using Microsoft Outlook, documentation in a client management tool/CRM, Carelink +).
Right to work in Australia
NDIS Workers Screening Check / willingness to obtain
Valid First Aid CPR
Highly regarded and desirable:

A relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Allied Health, Mental Health or working towards it.
Auslan skills, or a willingness to learn
Able to work across a variety of locations including Mitcham East and surrounding suburbs (Dandenong, Springvale, Croydon, Box Hill)
