Job Title: Disability Support Worker – Behaviour Support
Location: Morisset NSW
Employment Type: Casual
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers in Forestville to support clients with complex behaviours. This role involves providing direct, person-centred support in line with individual behaviour support plans, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and dignity in all care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Support participants with daily living tasks, community engagement, and personal care
Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies as per Behaviour Support Plans (BSP)
Accurately record shift notes and report any incidents or changes in behaviour
Engage participants in planned indoor and outdoor activities
Maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships
Work collaboratively with team members, families, and allied health professionals
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDIS Code of Conduct
Essential Requirements:

Minimum 6 months experience working with clients with behavioural needs
Completion of BSP Training or willingness to complete before starting
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (WWCC) – NSW
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (if required by client)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel within Morisset region
