About the role:
Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations. A Director Analyst possesses a keen eye for identifying problems and creating solutions within the market they serve. They use their knowledge to help clients make better decisions, solve complex issues, and execute new practices that propel clients’ businesses toward key objectives.
A Director Analyst publishes these insights as pragmatic and/or provocative research. Additionally, they reinforce Gartner’s value every day by engaging clients via virtual meetings, sales support, Gartner conferences and industry events.
The successful candidate is an expert in Data Management with experience in Agentic Data Management, it’s applicability to different use cases within the Organization and how they can be achieved. Candidates must have real world implementation experience of Agentic Data Management as opposed to understanding the theory or having worked on only proof of concept projects. The candidate will focus on written and customer-facing deliverables to support Data & Analytics Leaders who face the challenges of improving/establishing Data Management Initiatives.
What you will need:
Experience with Agentic Data Management, delivered live projects and understanding the challenges, use cases and technology.
Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Professional Qualification, or 10+ years direct experience in a field related to Data and Analytics.
Knowledge of core Vendors in Agentic Data Management, the products they offer and the core capabilities.
Familiarity with Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) initiatives, goals, objectives, and business value ROI.
Ability to confidently speak to C-Level Executives and provide actionable insights or explain concepts targeted and relatable to their role.
Strong organizational skills: ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.
Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability.
Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.
Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
